Overview
Month-End Madness ("the app") is developed by Seebak Sasidharan ("we", "us"). The app is a quiz game with no accounts and no sign-up. Your game progress — scores, floors, streaks, stats, settings, and unlocked outfits — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Data collected by the app
We do not operate our own servers and do not collect personal data ourselves. Two third-party services run inside the app:
- Google AdMob (advertising). To show ads, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, and ad-interaction data (ads viewed and tapped). Depending on your consent and tracking choices, this data may be used to personalise ads and measure their performance. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob apps.
- Apple Game Center (leaderboards & achievements). If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are submitted to Apple under your Game Center identity. This is managed entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we never see your Apple Account details.
The app may also produce anonymous crash and performance diagnostics, which are not linked to your identity.
Your choices
- App Tracking Transparency. On first launch, iOS asks whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalised using cross-app tracking.
- Ad consent (EEA/UK). In regions where the GDPR applies, a consent form is shown before ads load. You can decline personalised ads and the game works exactly the same.
- Remove ads entirely. A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase ($3.99) permanently disables all advertising in the app.
- Reset your data. You can erase all local game progress at any time via Settings → Reset all progress inside the app. Deleting the app also deletes all locally stored data.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your name, payment details, or billing information.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children, has no chat or social features, and contains no user-generated content. Ads are served through Google AdMob in accordance with its policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the date above before the change takes effect.
